Rosen Hagood Supports City of Charleston's First Day Festival


Charleston-based law firm, Rosen Hagood, is proud to support the First Day Festival, organized by the City of Charleston. The firm collected items for the school supply drive, functioned as a drop-off point for supplies being collected through the South Carolina Bar's Young Lawyers Division, and also made a monetary contribution.

Beth Palmer and Britt Kelly recognized by American Bar Association


The S.C. Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) was the winner of five prestigious Awards of Achievement at the American Bar Association Annual Meeting on Aug. 4 in Chicago, Ill. The awards included first place for Minority Service Project, Service to the Public and Newsletters, and second place for Service to the Bar and Comprehensive Projects and Programs.

Britt Kelly Nominated to James L. Petigru American Inn of Court


Rosen Hagood is pleased to announce that Russell Britton "Britt" Kelly has accepted an invitation to join the James L. Petigru Inn of Court in Charleston, South Carolina. He is one of only 65 members in Charleston.

Alex Cash Selected for Fifth Straight Year to Membership in the National Trial Lawyers, Top 100 Lawyers in South Carolina


Alex B. Cash, an attorney with Rosen Hagood, was selected for a fifth straight year to membership in the The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Lawyers in South Carolina. Mr. Cash practices primarily in the areas of family law and personal injury.

Beth Palmer Reappointed as Chair of the ABA YLD's Public Education Law Committee


Beth Palmer, an attorney with Rosen Hagood was reappointed as Chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Young Lawyers Division's (YLD) Public Education Law Committee. The YLD Public Education Committee focuses on increasing the public's understanding of and access to the legal system. This is her second year as chair of the committee.

Britt Kelly Awarded President's Medal by South Carolina Bar's Young Lawyers Division


Rosen Hagood is proud to announce the presentation of the South Carolina (S.C.) Bar's Young Lawyers Division (YLD) President's Medal to Britt Kelly. The award recognizes Mr. Kelly's continuous contributions, support, and dedication to the S.C. Bar YLD. He is one of twelve attorneys recognized by Rebecca Roser, President of the S.C. Daniel F. Blanchard, III and Elizabeth Palmer Present to American Bar Association


Elizabeth Palmer and Daniel F. Blanchard, III gave a joint presentation at the American Bar Association (ABA) General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Division's Spring Meeting in Charleston, South Carolina. The presentation reviewed issues and problems commonly encountered when taking the deposition of a corporation's designated representative and discussed strategies for effectively handling these problems.

Alice Paylor Chosen as President-Elect for South Carolina Bar


Alice F. Paylor, an attorney with Rosen Hagood, was recently elected to serve as President-Elect of the South Carolina Bar. Paylor's practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, employment litigation and education law. Her previous positions with the Bar include treasurer and secretary. In addition, since 2005 she has served as a member of the S.C. Bar Board of Governors and from 2000 to present as a member of its House of Delegates, of which she is a Past Chair.
