Daniel F. Blanchard, III and Elizabeth Palmer Present to American Bar Association


Elizabeth Palmer and Daniel F. Blanchard, III gave a joint presentation at the American Bar Association (ABA) General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Division's Spring Meeting in Charleston, South Carolina. The presentation reviewed issues and problems commonly encountered when taking the deposition of a corporation's designated representative and discussed strategies for effectively handling these problems.

Alice Paylor Chosen as President-Elect for South Carolina Bar


Alice F. Paylor, an attorney with Rosen Hagood, was recently elected to serve as President-Elect of the South Carolina Bar. Paylor's practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, employment litigation and education law. Her previous positions with the Bar include treasurer and secretary. In addition, since 2005 she has served as a member of the S.C. Bar Board of Governors and from 2000 to present as a member of its House of Delegates, of which she is a Past Chair.

Three Rosen Hagood Members Named to 2012 South Carolina Super Lawyers List


Rosen Hagood is pleased to announce that Richard S. Rosen, Alice F. Paylor, and H. Brewton "Brew" Hagood have been named to the 2012 South Carolina Super Lawyers list by Super Lawyers® magazine. No more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by Super Lawyers.

Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory awards "AV Preeminent" to three Rosen Hagood Attorneys


Andrew D. Gowdown, John E. Rosen, and David G. Jennings, attorneys for Rosen Hagood, were recently awarded the "AV Preeminent" rating by the LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings directory. Three Rosen Hagood Attorneys Chosen as 2012 South Carolina Rising Stars


CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Rosen Hagood is pleased to announce that Andrew D. Gowdown, James A. Rosen Hagood Announces New Office Location


Charleston-based law firm, Rosen Hagood, has announced the new location of its office at 151 Meeting Street. The firm was founded in 1947 and since then has continuously operated in downtown Charleston.

Britt Kelly and Beth Palmer Awarded Stars of the Quarter by Young Lawyer Division of South Carolina Bar


Rosen Hagood is proud to announce the presentation of the South Carolina (S.C.) Bar's Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Star of the Quarter award to Britt Kelly and Beth Palmer. The award recognizes their contributions, support, and dedication to the SC Bar YLD and their role in organizing the most successful Young Lawyer Division events in S.C. Bar Convention history. The committee co-chaired by Palmer and Kelly organized and promoted opportunities for young lawyers to attend and participate in Bar Convention activities, including a young lawyer social networking event with more than 300 attendees.
