Britt Kelly and Beth Palmer Awarded Stars of the Quarter by Young Lawyer Division of South Carolina

Rosen Hagood is proud to announce the presentation of the South Carolina (S.C.) Bar's Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Star of the Quarter award to Britt Kelly and Beth Palmer. The award recognizes their contributions, support, and dedication to the S.C. Bar YLD and their role in organizing the most successful Young Lawyer Division events in S.C. Bar Convention history. The committee co-chaired by Palmer and Kelly organized and promoted opportunities for young lawyers to attend and participate in Bar Convention activities, including a young lawyer social networking event with more than 300 attendees.

Palmer joined Rosen Hagood in 2005 and practices in the areas of commercial and business litigation, employment law, school law, and personal injury. She has been admitted to practice in the state of South Carolina and is a member of the Charleston Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar, and the American Bar Association. She received her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Kelly has been with Rosen Hagood since 2005 and focuses on construction litigation, commercial and business litigation, and personal injury cases. He has been admitted to practice law in the state courts of South Carolina and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of the South (Sewanee) in 2001, where he was a double major in Political Science and Spanish and in May 2005 graduated second in his class from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis.

The Young Lawyers Division is a professional service and community organization of the South Carolina Bar that provides leadership and business development opportunities for young and new lawyers throughout the state. The S.C. Bar YLD includes all members of the S.C. Bar under the age of 36 and those with less than five years of membership. The South Carolina Bar, which has a membership of more than 14,000 lawyers, is dedicated to advancing justice, professionalism and understanding of the law.
