CHARLESTON, S.C. - Elizabeth Palmer and Daniel F. Blanchard, III gave a joint presentation at the American Bar Association (ABA) General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Division's Spring Meeting in Charleston, South Carolina. The presentation reviewed issues and problems commonly encountered when taking the deposition of a corporation's designated representative and discussed strategies for effectively handling these problems.

Members of the General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Division of the ABA practice in a wide variety of substantive law areas, and in a variety of general practice, solo, and small firm practice settings. Also included are lawyers who practice in private practice, military, in-house, or government settings.

Palmer joined Rosen Hagood in 2005 and practices in the areas of business litigation, commercial litigation, employment law, school law, and personal injury. She has been admitted to practice in the state of South Carolina and is a member of the Charleston Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar, and the American Bar Association. She received her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Blanchard is an equity member of Rosen Hagood in Charleston, South Carolina. He practices primarily in the areas of business litigation, commercial litigation, probate and estate litigation, and personal injury. He is a member of Charleston County Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar, the American Bar Association, and the United States Supreme Court Historical Society. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States Supreme Court. He received his B.A. degree from Furman University in 1989 and earned his J.D. degree cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1992.
