Eight Rosen Hagood Attorneys Recognized by South Carolina Super Lawyers


Rosen Hagood is pleased to announce that Super Lawyers® magazine has selected three of the firm’s attorneys for the 2013 South Carolina Super Lawyers list and five attorneys as Rising Stars. No more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by Super Lawyers and no more than 2.5% are Rising Stars. This is only the second year that Rising Stars have been selected in South Carolina.

The American Bar Association's (ABA) Young Lawyers Division (YLD) awarded Beth Palmer of Rosen Hagood "Star of the Quarter" for the first quarter of the 2012-2013 bar year.

The S.C. Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) was the winner of five prestigious Awards of Achievement at the American Bar Association Annual Meeting on Aug. 4 in Chicago, Ill. The awards included first place for Minority Service Project, Service to the Public and Newsletters, and second place for Service to the Bar and Comprehensive Projects and Programs.

Beth Palmer Reappointed as Chair of the ABA YLD's Public Education Law Committee


Beth Palmer, an attorney with Rosen Hagood was reappointed as Chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Young Lawyers Division's (YLD) Public Education Law Committee. The YLD Public Education Committee focuses on increasing the public's understanding of and access to the legal system. This is her second year as chair of the committee.

Blanchard, III gave a joint presentation at the American Bar Association (ABA) General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Division's Spring Meeting in Charleston, South Carolina. The presentation reviewed issues and problems commonly encountered when taking the deposition of a corporation's designated representative and discussed strategies for effectively handling these problems.

Rosen Hagood is proud to announce the presentation of the South Carolina (S.C.) Bar's Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Star of the Quarter award to Britt Kelly and Beth Palmer. The award recognizes their contributions, support, and dedication to the SC Bar YLD and their role in organizing the most successful Young Lawyer Division events in S.C. Bar Convention history. The committee co-chaired by Palmer and Kelly organized and promoted opportunities for young lawyers to attend and participate in Bar Convention activities, including a young lawyer social networking event with more than 300 attendees.
