Scratch Golf v. Dunes West Residential Golf Properties 361 S.C. 117, 603 S.E. 2nd 905 (S.C. 2004)

Counsel represented golf course developer against contractor and seller accused of failing to perform contractual duties. The case involved a lower court order freezing funds belonging to defendant, which resulted in appeal to the S.C. Supreme Court on issues of whether or not the order was actually an attachment or injunction. Counsel succeeded in having the case remanded to the lower court while the order freezing the funds remained in effect resulting in a settlement shortly thereafter.
