American Lung Association Fights for Air Run Walk 2011
On October 29, 2011, Rosen, Rosen & Hagood, LLC, joined together to support the American Lung Association’s 2011 9th Annual Fight for Air Run/Walk in Charleston, SC. Families, individuals and teams got together at Folly Beach Pier to run/walk in memory of those who have lost their battle to lung disease, to support those who are fighting lung disease, and to raise awareness of lung disease.
Over 450 people participated in the professionally timed 5K event, which raised over $56,000 to benefit lung disease programs and research in our community. The event was a big success and the Run/Walk was followed by an after party on the Pier that included breakfast, and an awards ceremony with race and fundraising awards. Tim Muller, attorney with Rosen, Rosen & Hagood, won his age group.
The number three killer and the number one cancer killer in the United States, lung disease is responsible for a staggering one in six deaths. The American Lung Association is the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through Education, Advocacy and Research.
