Grosshuesch v. Cramer, 377 SC 12, 659 S.E.2d 112 (2008)

Rosen Hagood June 5, 2008

Richard Rosen and Andrew Gowdown represented an elderly couple and subsequently their guardian and personal representative in claims against a former caretaker who had manipulated the couple to obtain millions of dollars worth of real estate and personal property. The case resulted in a settlement in which several million dollars of real estate and some cash were returned to counsel’s clients. During the course of litigation counsel was able to obtain an injunction from the SC Supreme Court protecting and preserving assets which Plaintiffs claimed should belong to them and which had been obtained through undue influence by Defendants who also were charged with criminal activity. Opinion No. 26453
