Bijan is an associate practicing in the areas of business and commercial litigation, business and corporate law, employment and labor law, and construction law and litigation. His background in business coupled with his experience as a business owner provides a unique perspective to help his clients navigate the regulatory landscape and craft efficient solutions to formidable problems.
Prior to joining the firm, Bijan worked as a law clerk for the firm during the summers of 2016 and 2017. He also interned with the City of Charleston’s Corporate Counsel and with the College of Charleston’s NCAA Compliance Department.
Bijan received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and went on to earn his MBA from the College of Charleston. He is a magna cum laude graduate of the Charleston School of Law. While in law school, Bijan served as Treasurer and Vice President of the Business Law Society. He was on the moot court and competed in the 2016 Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition at Elon University. Bijan also assisted with several publications on federal civil procedure topics and “The Road to ODC is Often Paved With Good Intentions,” a presentation at the 2015 South Carolina Annual Judicial Conference.
Bijan’s passion for innovation and new business ventures led him to start a web development company prior to law school. He is also one of the founders of Jockbrokers, a patented software application, which operates as the first asset-based sports investing platform.
Outside of his practice, Bijan enjoys cheering on the Gamecocks, discovering new technologies, and spending time with his dog.
