Gowdown, who is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, practices in the areas of personal injury, traumatic brain injury, business and commercial litigation, and securities litigation. He is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Charleston and a 2010 graduate of Leadership South Carolina; he now serves on the Leadership South Carolina Board of Trustees. Gowdown received his bachelors of science degree in business administration from Miami University in 1995 and earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1998.
