Three Rosen Hagood Members Named to 2012 South Carolina Super Lawyers List
CHARLESTON, SC – Rosen Hagood is pleased to announce that Richard S. Rosen, Alice F. Paylor, and H. Brewton “Brew” Hagood have been named to the 2012 South Carolina Super Lawyers list by Super Lawyers® magazine. No more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by Super Lawyers.
Richard Rosen’s practice focuses primarily on business litigation and personal injury cases. He has been admitted to practice in the South Carolina state and federal courts, in the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. This is Rosen’s fifth consecutive year on the South Carolina Super Lawyerslist. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University and earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Alice Paylor earned her fourth consecutive designation to the South Carolina Super Lawyers list for her work in business litigation, employment and labor, and with government, cities, and municipalities. Paylor, a shareholder with the firm since 1987, graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She is currently serving as President-Elect of the South Carolina Bar Association, (after serving as Chair of the Bar’s House of Delegates, Secretary, and Treasurer) and, by virtue of her leadership positions, serves on the Bar’s Executive Committee and its Board of Governors. She is a past President of the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association.
Brew Hagood, who heads the construction practice group at Rosen Hagood, was selected for both construction law and construction litigation. He holds the highest professional rating (“AV”) in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and is a member of the American Bar Association Tort and Insurance Practice Section, the Forum on the Construction Industry, and the Law Practice Management Section. He has been admitted to practice before all South Carolina state courts, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. This is Mr. Hagood’s fifth consecutive year on the Super Lawyers list.
